about us
Karmel Resort Naivasha is a garden resort domiciled in Naivasha along the Naivasha-North Kinangop road about 10kms from the Nairobi Nakuru highway with unobstructed views of both the Ilkinopop/Kinangop and Naivasha skylines. The name is of Hebrew origin meaning an Orchard or Garden - a paradise resort, where we make our guests come again.
We offer a blend of professional and raw African themed services, a cool and quiet getaway from the hustles of urban life.
Naivasha (Naiposha) is a name originally from the Maa community meaning rough waters. There are over 40 species of birds therefore ideal for birding. It's also home to buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, hippopotamus and Columbus monkeys. There are three lakes: Lake Naivasha, Lake Oloiden and Lake Sonach (Green Crater Lake).
